Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
It is estimated that by the year 2020, there will be an estimated shortage of 800,000 nurses in the U.S. alone. As a nurse, your skills are in demand!
Trinity’s nursing program offers a convenient path to your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree - whether or not you are currently a registered nurse. Trinity’s faculty is dedicated to helping you to achieve or enhance your nursing degree, advance your career, and keep your skills in step with today’s rapidly evolving medical field.
In Trinity’s nursing program, you will learn through hands-on experience, in small classes that will allow you to develop a relationship with your professors and clinical supervisors. Students in the program also benefit from direct access to nurse leaders and leaders in healthcare in the US Congress and administrative agencies.
Courses of Study - Two Paths to Your BSN
The nursing program offers two courses of study, both resulting in a BSN degree; either can be completed on a full- or part-time schedule.
- If you are already a Registered Nurse, the RN to BSN program is for you! Best of all, your previous academic and work experience may allow you to place out of certain courses, and some college credits you may have already earned could count towards your Trinity BSN.
- The Pre-Licensure BSN program is for students who are not currently licensed as a registered nurse. Combining a grounding in liberal arts with nursing courses and clinical experiences, this program provides you with a well-rounded education a preparation to take the licensure exam to begin your career as a registered nurse.
