Reunion Giving
Each year, Trinity alumnae gather on campus to celebrate their Class Reunions—from their 5th to their 75th! This year, classes ending in 1 and 6 will celebrate with a weekend full of festivities and friendships. On June 3-5, 2011.
A big part of the celebration of an alumna’s Trinity experience is the class reunion gift, a special donation to the Trinity Annual Fund that is a stretch beyond the usual annual gift in honor of both the class and Trinity. The sum of all Annual Fund gifts made by a particular class comprises the “reunion gift” from the class to alma mater. Your class reunion gift is tax deductible and is a wonderful form of philanthropy.
So, now that we all understand the class reunion gift, you may be wondering, “What are class funds?” Class funds are all about fun! Your contribution to the class fund pays for the expenses associated with your reunion class party. These funds are paid to the Alumnae Association, and since they are for your use and not a charitable gift, are not tax deductible.
So remember, as Reunion Weekend approaches….
Plan well!
Plan to have fun!
Plan to be as generous as you can!
We are looking forward to seeing you!
