Nursing Faculty
Trinity Washington University invites applications for two full-time nursing faculty positions within the coeducational School of Professional Studies (SPS), which offers innovative programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels designed for adult learners (a twelve-month position).
Successful applicants will teach courses in the pre-licensure BSN nursing program, as well as in the RN to BSN program. Responsibilities will also include course development, academic advisement, clinical teaching and oversight, research & scholarship, and assisting with recruitment efforts for the nursing program.
Specifically, we are searching for faculty to teach in the following areas of nursing.
Medical-Surgical and Critical Care Nursing
Psychiatric – Mental Health Nursing
Maternity and Women’s Health Nursing
Pediatric Nursing
Applicants for these positions will hold a master’s degree in nursing or a master’s degree in education with nursing credentials (Ph.D. preferred), and have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in adult health, maternal and newborn health, pediatric nursing, psychiatric and mental health nursing, or community and public health nursing Preference will be given to the candidate who can demonstrate excellence in face-to-face and distance education and potential for scholarly and service contributions.
