Minority Nurse Scholarship
Scholarship for BSN degree
Need Some Economic Stimulus to Help You Complete Your BSN Degree? Apply for the 2010 Minority Nurse Scholarship Program!
Who Is Eligible?
The scholarships are open to racial and ethnic minority students who, in fall 2010, will be enrolled in either:
• The third or fourth year of an accredited BSN program in the United States
• An accelerated program leading to a BSN degree (such as RN-to-BSN or BA-to-BSN)
• An accelerated Master’s Entry nursing program for students with bachelor’s degrees in fields other than nursing (such as BA-to-MSN)
What Are the Scholarship Amounts?
Minority Nurse will award $5,000 in scholarships:
• One $3,000 Scholarship
• Two $1,000 Scholarships
When Are the Scholarships Paid?
Scholarships will be paid in summer 2010 for the fall 2010 term.
When Is the Deadline?
The application deadline for the 2010 Minority Nurse scholarships is February 1, 2010.

Black Nurses Association
Scholarship opportunity
In support of increasing and supporting individuals pursuing careers in nursing, The Black Nurses Association of the Greater Washington DC Area annually awards scholarships to qualified nursing students enrolled in accredited nursing programs. These scholarships include the Margaret Pemberton Scholarship awarded to a college bound graduating high-school senior accepted into an accredited nursing program. The Dr. Johnella Banks Memorial Scholarship awarded to a sophmore, junior or first semester senior nursing student enrolled in an RN program or a student enrolled in a practical nursing program.
